You know when your stomach starts to ache and your pulse begins to quicken because you have ‘that’ feeling that something isn’t right…?

I have that.

I hate this.

How do you learn to trust again after so many lies…….?

December is ending ~~2014

Are my followers still there?

I’m back for a minute!

I hope all of you are finding the holiday season warm, peaceful, kind and inviting.  It can be so stressful for so many!

I don’t really have anything ‘major’ to discuss or voice. I’m happy as heck with that too.

I’m actually thinking of changing the topic of my blog to encompass more of my life than the issues I have with my 18 year old son.  I’m leaning towards more of an inspirational, kind-hearted, educational, compassionate approach to life.  By educational I mean re-learning and being reminded of small truths we already know but sometimes let slip too far from our daily lives.

In the mean time:  Merry Christmas and get ready 2015 is on its way!

Living life

Well, well – it has been a VERY long time since I wrote anything here.

I really should go back an re-read my last entry.

Life is moving slowly and I love it. I’m not looking too far ahead and certainly trying to not look back.

I have trust issues that I work on daily.  I am treasuring family dinners, texts, silly photos, hugs, nighttime chats, small celebrations, thanking God for my trials because I feel strong.  Riding the waves of life and trying to not get sea sick.

Nervous stomach

from excitement, apprehension, reality, past situations, possible future situations.  Thursday, August 14th my 18 year old son will get released early (for good behavior).

I have been doing pretty well with my ‘one day at a time’ motto, not looking too far into the future.  However, I feel like the future is smacking me in the face THIS WEEK!  My son has made many positive changes but addiction is HARD!!

I’m saying extra prayers for strength and faith this week.

A Prayer for strength and faith. Jesus
